He has been moved from ICU to a regular room while they continue to run tests. It appears the main problems are complications from out-of-control blood sugar levels. Infection is present in both hands and feet, but how severe is unknown at this time. We will update as we know more.

Since Richard and Marion were in that part of town they stopped by to see Wayne Bacon and found him to be very alert, witty, and in good spirits.
